Jose Morin is a highly skilled Legal Consultant who has been working in collaboration with Federal Criminal Defense Attorneys nationwide since 1996. With a deep understanding of the legal system and a wealth of experience, he has made significant contributions to numerous cases throughout his career.
Mr. Morin's journey in the field of Criminal Justice began when he attended and graduated from the Southwest Florida School of Criminal Justice in 1984, where he earned a Law Enforcement Degree. Recognizing the importance of continuous learning and specialization, he pursued further education at the Southeast Florida School of Criminal Justice, where he obtained a second Law Enforcement Degree in 1986. In addition, he earned multiple degrees in Courtroom Case Presentation, Research/Writing, and Criminal Case Analysis from from both institutions, further enhancing his expertise in these crucial areas.
In 1999, Mr. Morin further expanded his legal knowledge by completing a Legal Assistant Degree at the prestigious Blackstone School of Legal Studies. Through this program, he gained comprehensive training in research analysis, case interpretation, and document drafting. Additionally, his familiarity with LEXIS research platforms, LEXIS Docket Track and LEXIS AI, has proved to be invaluable when supporting licensed counsels nationwide.
Throughout his career, Mr. Morin has been actively involved in drafting and preparing multiple appeals in all eleven United States Court of Appeals. Furthermore, his expertise extends to preparing Writs of Certiorari to the United States Supreme Court, underscoring his ability to navigate complex legal procedures. He has also assisted licensed counsel in handling Federal Post-Conviction matters from various regions across the United States, showcasing his extensive knowledge of the post-conviction process as well.
In addition to his work within the Federal Court system, Mr. Morin possesses a deep understanding of the Board of Immigration's appellate process concerning INS cases. His insights and skills in this area have proven invaluable when assisting in the representation of clients facing immigration-related challenges.
Mr. Morin has demonstrated his commitment to pursuing justice by preparing Presidential Pardons to the United States Pardon Attorney's Office in Washington, D.C. Finally, Mr. Morin has a comprehensive understanding of the Administrative Remedy Process requirements of the Federal Bureau of Prisons, further enhancing his ability to provide effective assistance to his incarcerated clients within the Federal Bureau of Prisons.
